Abstract Seascapes

I live in California on the San Francisco Peninsula, surrounded by water and mountains. It is very inspiring for me as an artist. I love spending time by the ocean on weekends watching waves, clouds, and haze.

These seascapes are inspired by the views of the Pacific Ocean and ever-changing coastal weather.

They were painted without using any paintbrushes, just by pouring watercolors on paper. I was tilting the paper and letting the colors run freely. It was a very meditative process.

Three of these seascapes were featured in the UPPERCASE magazine, issue 45.
